Desktop Engineering Announces IRONCAD Editor's Pick of the Week
DUBLIN, NEW HAMPSHIRE, USA — Desktop Engineering magazine (deskeng.com) announced that IRONCAD Version 11.0, from IronCAD LLC (Atlanta, GA), which enhances productivity by moving creative ideas into full 3D reality while using a creative design approach, was chosen as the Editor's Pick of the Week for December 10, 2008.

IRONCAD was selected by Anthony J. Lockwood, editor at large for Desktop Engineering, because, he says, "Today, IRONCAD is free of business nonsense, and it enjoys a wide deployment in Asia and Europe, but less than it should in North America. It's worth checking out for a number of reasons, all of which involve technological way-cooled-ness…"
Of the four things that Lockwood likes about IRONCAD Version 11, he says "IRONCAD straddles a unique position in the CAD world. It has the power and functionality to attract the attention of any serious designer, engineer, or manufacturer. It facilitates file transfers, it does things that more expensive systems do, and it can serve as a complement to your PLM system."
